Hitler, Himmler and Goebbels choose to commit suicide rather than risk capture.
The remaining captured Nazi’s were tried and many were executed. Hermann Goering committed suicide the night before his execution by taking cyanide that he hid in his medicine can.
Most of the Nazi’s were defiant, refused to cooperate, some even wore their Swastika’s in the court room, many laughed during the trial.
