2. Once Post reading Date:
Objectives
Introduce and plan posters students will create to document our study of Once.
Split students into teams.
Gather eight points for each poster before we make them.
Tell students a green card goes to every member of best poster.
Warm –up
Look over every quote you have taken from Once over the last several weeks. Choose one and say what you wrote about it. Why did you choose that quote now?

3. Once Post reading Date:
Poster
Tomorrow, each team of three to four will be given a poster to display a topic they are given. (Like the TY one down the back of the room)
These topics will include characters, themes and moments.
Today we shall gather the material we need for the poster; namely “Quotes”, ideas, facts, images you can draw, and we shall plan it out.
Tomorrow then, you will create the poster, stand in front of the class and present it.
N.B. Nothing goes on the poster without being written or drawn on a separate page first.

Plan out and have a small version of your poster
Have a second sheet with all your points listed on it.

Themes: You have to use find quotes, examples from what characters say and what they do.
Part of growing up means learning and accepting harsh truths
Stories can help people to cope in difficult situations
Everybody deserves to have something good in their life, at least once
 Characters: You need to find what these characters say, do and how they affect the story.

The beginning: The orphanage and Felix leaving (Chapter 1-5)
The middle: his interactions with Zelda and Barney (Chp. 6-13)

7. Group up Group up and assign each other roles.
Each person should be responsible for a third / a quarter of the sheet.
Each person should have points, quotes and explanations, as well as artistic contributions 
N.B. You can print, cut out stuff and glue to your hearts content as long as you bring in the materials. We shall have markers and paper here.
