30 FTE’s were lost in the 2017/2018 school year An additional 10 FTE’s were lost for BUDGET REDUCTIONS 12% ( $356, ) reduction in the Operations budget will impact Supplies Overtime Equipment purchases Ability to hire supplemental employees

12 CUSTODIAL EXPECTATIONS

13 NEW CUSTODIAL EXPECTATIONS
Custodians should not be expected to erase, wipe or remove daily written material on dry erase boards. Custodians request assistance from teachers and students in stacking classroom/lab chairs prior to leaving for the day to facilitate better cleaning. Custodians should not be asked to make repairs that fall under the Facility Maintenance Department.

14 NEW CUSTODIAL EXPECTATIONS
Custodians should not perform preventative maintenance or make adjustments to Smart Boards or projectors (lamps and/or filters). Please have teachers or IT personnel submit a work order to the necessary department. Custodians should not be required to perform landscaping/gardening of any kind to exclude blowing sidewalks, walkways or other walking/parking areas. Custodians are expected to maintain the cleanliness of the building exteriors.

15 NEW CUSTODIAL EXPECTATIONS
Custodians request assistance from teachers and students in daily raising or lowering of flags. Custodians will clean tables and floors after each lunch and must attend to other duties in between. Returning cafeteria trays, etc., from the teachers Dining Room or Lounge is the responsibility of the teachers. Custodians must not be used for student monitoring or discipline of any kind (i.e. serving lines, restrooms)

16 NEW CUSTODIAL EXPECTATIONS
Custodians should not be expected to remove items left in refrigerators or to wash staff dishes. Custodians must not be asked to perform personal tasks for campus staff while on duty. The removal of spirit, club, or school sponsored decorations of any kind should be the responsibility of the organization. Custodians should not be responsible nor be utilized in CRMS inventory verification of campus items.

17 NEW CUSTODIAL EXPECTATIONS
Custodians should not be expected to water, weed, or otherwise maintain community gardens. Custodians request assistance from teachers and students in limiting classroom trash pick up to one receptacle per room.
