2. Cain (Gen. 1-8)
By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. Heb 11:4 (NKJV)

8. The Rich Young Ruler (Matt. 19:16-22)

9. The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32)
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise: 3 "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth." Eph 6:1-3 (NKJV)
Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord. Col 3:20 (NKJV)

The poor man is hated even by his own neighbor, But the rich has many friends. Prov 14:20 (NKJV)
Wealth makes many friends, But the poor is separated from his friend. Prov 19:4 (NKJV)
All the brothers of the poor hate him; How much more do his friends go far from him! He may pursue them with words, yet they abandon him. Prov 19:7 (NKJV)
A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity. Prov 17:17 (NKJV)

Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day; Prov 23:17 (NKJV)
Do not be envious of evil men, Nor desire to be with them; 2 For their heart devises violence, And their lips talk of troublemaking. Prov 24:1-2 (NKJV)
