7 Leviticus 23:9-11 "Then the Yehovah spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. He shall wave the sheaf before Yehovah for you to be accepted; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.“ Which Sabbath is being referred to in this verse? Weekly Sabbath or a Special Sabbath of Unleavened Bread?

8 Sadducee vs. Pharisee “Takanot” = traditions of false doctrine
Sadducees (Zadokim; sons of Zadok): Wave offering should occur on the day after the first weekly Sabbath after Passover meal. Many did not believe in a resurrection after death. Majority of priests of Yeshua’s day. View of Essenes (Karaites). Pharisees: Wave offering should be done on the day after the Special Sabbath of first day of Unleavened Bread, the day of Passover meal; unless a weekly Sabbath falls there, then it is the next day. They believed in a resurrection after death. Controlled the Sanhedrin in Yeshua’s day. The Essenes (of which the Qumran community was a part) interpreted “the day after the Sabbath” to be the weekly Sabbath that occurred after the week of the Festival of Unleavened Bread was over. Thus, the Essenic community would observe Shavuot a week after the Sadducees.

9 Matt. 12:40 says: Yeshua says: “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” The phrase "three days and three nights" appears in a single verse in Matthew's gospel and does not appear in any of the other gospels. All the other references relate the time of 24 hour cycle, day time: From that time forth began Yeshua to show unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. (Matt.16:21) And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry. (Matt. 17:23)

10 Virtually every English translation renders the Greek words “prote sabbatou”, “mian sabbaton”, “mias sabbaton”, and “mia ton sabbaton” as “first day of the week.” (9 out of 68 times in NT) The Greek word for “day” (hemera) is nowhere to be found in any of these verses! ho, hé, to: the Original Word: ὁ, ἡ, τό Part of Speech: Definite Article Transliteration: ho, hé, to Phonetic Spelling: (ho) Short Definition: the Definition: the, the definite article. And after the Sabbaths, as one of the Sabbaths was drawing near, came Miryam of Migdal and the other Miryam to see the sepulcher.

12 THE PROBLEM WITH MIA TON SABBATON BEING TRANSLATED “FIRST DAY OF WEEK”.
1 Corinthians 16:1-2  Concerning the relief money for the kadishea [saints] in Jerusalem, you should follow the procedure I gave to the assemblies in Galatia. On every one of the Sabbaths (not “on the first day of the week”) everyone should set aside for himself from his treasures, fro whatever he would have gained, so that when I would come then collections would not need to be made..

13 POSSIBLE DAY SEQUENCES THAT WOULD BEST PLACE THE RESURRECTION MESSIAH ON FIRST-FRUITS
Messiah was in the ground 3 full days and 3 full nights. He said Himself that He would follow the prophetic shadow of Jonah in the belly of the whale.

18 ALL OF THESE ARE POSSIBLE BUT OPTION 3 SEEMS TO FOLLOW THE GOSPELS’ ACOUNTS BEST.
“After Sabbaths” ladies found tomb empty. There is a day between two Sabbaths for ladies to prepare their incense for body. The Messiah is “Lord of Sabbath” in that He resurrected before sun went down of the Weekly Sabbath even though the ladies discovered the grave empty very early the next day. He ascended to “His Father” on First-Fruits before he allowed anyone to touch Him.

19 We begin counting omer on First-Fruits
We begin counting omer on First-Fruits. So when is First-Fruits and when do we begin the count? That depends on where each year we place First-Fruits. That is which Sabbath is it going to follow? Hypothetically, if this is the weekly Sabbath. Aviv 14 Preparation day 15 Sabbath Unleavened bread 21 Sabbath Unleavened bread 16 17 18 19 20 22 Which Sabbath does First-Fruits follow?

20 When should we celebrate the Resurrection?
We know the Yeshua was placed on the cross and died at about 3pm on the Preparation Day before the first day of Unleavened Bread when the Passover meal is eaten. We know He arose 3 days and 3 nights later. Resurrection is then 3 days and 3 nights after sundown Preparation day (Nissan 14). Resurrection day would begin at sundown on Nissan 17 every year, on what ever day of week it falls on.

21 But now Messiah has been raised from the dead, the first-fruits of those who are asleep.  For since by  a man {came} death, by a man also {came} the resurrection of the dead.  For as in Adam all die, so also in Messiah all will be made alive.  But each in his own order: Messiah the first-fruits, after that those who are Messiah's at His coming..." 1 Corinthians 15:20-23 1 Cor. 15:20-23 But now is Messiah risen from the dead, and become the first-fruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Messiah the first-fruits; afterward they that are Messiah's at his coming.
