5. Magma
a mixture of molten or semi-molten rock, volatiles and solids that is found beneath the surface of the Earth

6. Crystallization
the removal and segregation from a melt of different mineral precipitates at different temperatures and different periods of cooling based on chemical composition

7. Igneous Rock
rock type that is formed due to the solidification of magma or lava over long and short periods of time respectively

fine grained igneous rocks that form on the surface that cool rapidly

coarse grained igneous rock that form below the surface that form at high temperatures over a long period of time

the mechanical and chemical processes that break down rocks into small pieces
