39 WHY DOES RILM PRESCRIBE SUPPPLEMENTAL TEACHING
The ASER Report suggests that the learning level of students is low. One approach can be to involve volunteer teachers in schools, who will provide subject support to the students and also engage in Co-curricular activities. The Volunteer Teacher can assist the students to strengthen the reading and writing skills.

40 HOW CAN A CLUB IMPLEMENT SUPPLEMENAL TEACHING?
Step 1 Identify schools and find out from the school authority if they would like volunteer teachers to give subject support and conduct extra-curricular activities. Step 2 Finalize a time for the classes before or after the school hours or on holidays. Step 3 Select the volunteer teacher from among Club members or by searching for volunteer teachers from our website. Introduce the volunteer teacher to the Head Teacher.

41 HOW CAN A CLUB IMPLEMENT SUPPLEMENAL TEACHING?
Step 4 Ensure that the volunteer teacher receives some orientation about the requirements of the students from the school Step 5 Encourage the volunteer teacher to submit a report periodically to showcase his/her teaching experience. Step 6 Upload project details on along with good quality pictures.
