4 Are "Business INtelligence" and "BUsiness Analytics" the same?
One view is BI is the analysis of historical data to understand a company's current situation, while BA is the analysis of historical and current data to create predictive models for the future. Another view is that BI collects and reports information while BA makes sense of the information to make it more useful

Others consider BA to be the umbrella term that includes BI, and vice versa. HOWEVER These two terms have been increasingly used interchangeably

8 Three Types of Business intelligence Tools
Guided Analysis and Reporting This includes traditional BI tools that are used to filter, compare, and visualize data.  These tools result in reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards.   Self-Service BI and Analysis These tools are used to analyze sets of data, often by those who will also use the analysis.  Anyone in a company using self-service BI and analysis tools can use them to perform the specific analysis they need without going through specialists or their IT staff.  These tools result in data visualization and discovery and allow for online analytical processing (OLAP) applications. Advanced Analytics These tools are used to create predictive analytical models.  It may also include statistical modeling and big data analytics.  This is the most in-depth type of analysis and provides information to a company about where it can go in the future. 

9 Evolution of Business Intelligence Systems
Business Intelligence Tools have come a long way to be streamlined and easier to use by almost anyone within a company.  Some popular Self-serve BI tools include:  IBM Watson Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau Desktop, Google Analytics

10 Google Analytics Google Analytics which takes advantage of cloud-based data to provide information about a company's online presence.  It can calculate return on investment for your advertising and your website traffic.

11 IBM Watson IBM Watson is another tool that automates the process of business analytics.  It helps a company discover relationships and correlations and discover new data and trends.

12 MIcrosoft Power BI Microsoft Power BI is a data visualization tool that allows a business to connect to different data sources and to simplify them in a visual dashboard that can be shared with the rest of the company.  There are hundreds of options for analytical tools and while there is not one perfect tool that will work for every business, each provide something unique and useful.
