MINDFULNESS TRAINING WITH VICTORIA BROOKBANK In 2017 Victoria founded MindfulCommunity. The focus is to train people in mindfulness techniques to help enhance general wellbeing in particular to manage and understand life and work-related stress. The courses and taster sessions are ideal for anyone wishing to feel happier, calmer and more focussed. Victoria also delivers mindfulness coaching to enhance general wellbeing promoting the link between mind and body and mindfulness coaching for leadership. As a former CEO of a mental health charity and a team leader at a financial consultancy in the City of London, it became apparent to Victoria that stress and anxiety is a common experience, particular in the workplace, having a tangible impact on general wellbeing and happiness. With over ten years of personal mindfulness practice and by regularly attending meditation retreats to deepen her practice, Victoria passionately believes mindfulness and the development of self-awareness is key to relieving and managing stress. Victoria gained her Workplace Mindfulness Training from The Mindfulness Exchange (TME), a spinoff from the Oxford University’s, Oxford Mindfulness Centre (OMC). TME are pioneers in scientifically based mindfulness tailored for the workplace. Victoria has also trained with Shamash Alidina in mindfulness techniques for stress. She has psychotherapy qualifications from Regent’s University, London.
