Cost of Eco-Week $125 The tuition covers:
Three days and two nights lodging Meals: dinner Monday-lunch Wednesday Ecology guides and facilitators Challenge Ropes Course experience Full time Registered Nurse on call 24/7 Guided full day hike Snacks Payment plans are an options if needed and we have some financial assistance/scholarships available, please discuss this issue with Mr. Schooler or Mrs. Kietzmann by September 16.

Lodging and Meals Lodging Meals Dormitory accommodations
6-10 students per room Separate wings for boys and girls, communal restrooms Meals Cafeteria style meals for breakfast and dinner, sack lunches Meat and vegetarian entrée, salad bar Special diets can be accommodated Any special concerns need to be addressed as soon as possible so we may inform the Pingree Staff.

Medications EVERY prescription and over-the-counter medication requires a SEPARATE authorized medication form This form must be signed by a doctor Separate form needed for self-administered medications (asthma/allergies) Medications are administered by the Pingree Park Nurse at mealtimes Nurse

Packing Hints Important Gear: Duffle bag, sleeping bag, and day pack
Clearly labeled with name Layered Clothing Plan for temperature extremes! Broken-in shoes with tread Hiking boots are not necessary No Converse or Flip flops Leak-proof water bottle Shig

Preparing your Child for a Successful Eco-Week
Begin talking about the trip at home Come up with strategies to deal with homesickness Encourage personal responsibility by having students organize gear for the trip However, PLEASE go through the packing checklist with your child- staff does not bring extra gear! Shig
