Snipping Tool Type in “Snipping Tool” Click “New”
When the screen turns foggy, snip and right-click “Copy.” Then, right-click “Paste” in your PowerPoint. Example: Snipped Headline

Hyperlinked Homepage 20th Century Chronology & Geography
Right-click the text box Click “Hyperlink” Click “Place in this Document” Select the slide that you would like to link to On the destination slide, create a “home” button and hyperlink it back to the homepage slide

Embedded Videos Click “Insert” Click “Video” “Online Video”
Search for the video on YouTube Practice on the class desktop to be sure it works

Edited Pictures Too Blurry!
When possible, narrow your search Large = better clarity Click “Tools” “Size” “Large” Too Blurry!

Edited Pictures Want a snazzy border? ~ Double-click the pic and select a “Picture Style”

Edited Pictures Jazz ? ~ Double-click the pic and select a “Correction” or “Color” or “Artistic Effect” If you want to lose the background, but keep an object in the picture, click “Remove Background”

Animations Click on the textbox, text line, picture, or shape that you would like to animate Click the dropdown icon for more options (Green = Entrance, Yellow = Emphasis, Red = Exit) Click the “Animation Pane” to change the order of your animations You can also “Add an Animation” for more complex maneuvers
