LEAVING ON FRIDAY16/02/18 FROM ANEURIAN WAY BUS STOP- 3.30pm
RETURNING ON SATURDAY 24/02/18 TO THE FRONT OF SCHOOL (time- late afternoon)

4. WHERE ARE WE SKIING?
The Ski Amade Ski Region

5. WHERE ARE WE STAYING Hotel – Sendlhofer, Radstadt
Sole group occupancy of hotel
3 course evening meal
Continental breakfast
Heated boot room
Hotel regularly deals with school parties
Ysgol Greenhill school stayed there last and were very complimentary of both the hotel and staff

6. Roomings Pupils will be allocated rooms on arrival
No mixed gender in one room at any point
Consequence – sent home at parents cost

Will be our home for 24 hrs x 2

8. Outward Travel Plan Depart on Friday 16/02/18 (3.45pm)
One stop in England
Catch overnight ferry to Calais
Breakfast in Germany
Arrive at hotel approx 6 p.m.
Shower/change

Ski fit (All skis & boots will have your name on them)
Fill in room damage report sheets
Relax/Bed

9. Ski Day Arrangements Ski instructors will place pupils in groups
5hrs ski lessons and 1hr supervised lunch
Pupils must wear helmets at ALL times
Pupils responsible for all equipment on and off slopes
NO pupil will ski without a skiing instructor being present

Sunday – Sledging
Monday – Swimming – Excellent pool
Tuesday – Fancy Dress/Karaoke
Wednesday – Bowling and pizza night
Thursday – Presentation Evening

13. MONEY It is recommended that your son/daughter should bring 180 Euros.
120 Euros for 6 lunchtime meals.20x6=120
60 Euros snacks & drinks in the evenings
£30 for meals on ferry and motorway stops
Very limited shopping.
We offer an optional pupil bank where money can be handed to teachers before departing and will be given out on a daily basis.

14. Return Travel Plan Depart on Friday 23/02/18 after supper.
Travel overnight to catch the 7.40 a.m. ferry from Calais to Dover
Arrive back in School car park on Saturday 24/02/18 at 3 p.m. (approx)

15. Mobile Phones Mobile phone use will be restricted.
If a pupil wishes to bring a mobile phone a staff member will collect it from them on arrival at the hotel.
Pupils will be allowed to have their phones for an hour daily, in order to contact home.
Any technological items that pupils bring will be the responsibility of the pupil.
On average one phone/ipad/tablet is lost every ski trip!!!
IF A PUPIL WISHES TO TAKE PHOTOS THEY WILL NEED A CAMERA

16. Final Preparations
All pupils will require an up to date passport and E1-11 card
I will collect the weight, height, dietary requirements and shoe size measurements of each pupil this evening.
All passports and E1-11 cards to be handed in by January 12th (First Friday after Christmas)
County insurance policy covers all pupils and staff

All pupils should appreciate that skiing holidays, including clothing and spending money are expensive
All those going on the trip should appreciate how lucky they are.
