3. Faculty CATIE
Mission: to establish a learning community of educators who will discuss ways to leverage technology integration in support of the school’s mission, vision, and strategic plans
Structure: optional hands-on meetings about once a month in the library facilitated by tech integration specialists
The focus is on the C in CATIE for building relationships.

George Couros, the Division Principal of Innovative Teaching and Learning for Parkland School Division, Skyped with us last year about the importance of building a PLN. On his blog, The Principal of Change, he writes, “I believe we need to inspire our kids to follow their passions, while letting them inspire us to do the same.”
