Sonya Kovalevski ( , Russian) Was equally talented in math and literature (published novels, plays, and poetry) Taught herself trig by inventing it … Teacher, loved by her students Doctorate degree at age 24. Mixed calculus and physics Lived a bit of a scandalous life, died at age 41.
