Learning at a glance! Today, there has been a sudden explosion in technology offerings and it seems to be an impossible attempt to keep up with the pace. The bar on us seems to keep rising and we always seem to find ourselves at the tail of the learning curve. At the same time, the technology taught at formal Education Institutions is becoming increasingly outdated and irrelevant as Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IOT), Artificial Intelligence, Hadoop & Big Data and Virtual Reality are making their way into our lives. We learn Engineering, Entrepreneur Spirit and Programming by building real projects. We teach our students to dream and draw their ideas and put functional building blocks to them. Then we teach them to write the code and assemble the hardware & software to build these blocks. They are the true engineers, architects and programmers of the projects they build.

Learning Cycle Gain knowledge Express your ideas Find your Herd
Build your ideas Reinvent yourself
5
The Explorer The explorer takes the first steps in scientific exploration. They learn programming languages, electronic circuits, laws of physics, electricity, statistics, data inference to name a few. Though they cannot build your own projects yet, you are learning to take things apart and dissect the building blocks. They are starting to see how many small ideas come together to give shape to innovation. The explorer is learning what ‘Open Source Technology’ means and is encouraged to build projects using his/her own creativity.
6
The Inventor The inventor has already experienced the wonders of science and technology and is now developing the ability to build things themselves. They are avidly learning advanced programming, scientific principals and disruptive technology and using them to build own projects. They are learning to express your views and provide a scientific framework and shape to an idea. They learn to question and challenge observations & theories you are exposed to. You see the importance of observation and experiments with focus on troubleshooting failed projects and keep improving upon the projects being built.
7
The Creator The creators will work hands on with technologies that will shape tomorrows robots, gadgets and the way humans interact with machines. They are ready to build on their own ideas, inspire others and kick start their startups!! They work on and contribute to the latest technology trends. They can make machines that can think and talk like humans, smart gadgets that can be communicated to and controlled from anywhere in the world, develop algorithms that can understand human speech, mine data and provide insights. They know how to use cloud technology to build and give shape to anything they can dream of. Most importantly, they learn to inspire others, dares to explore the unknown, thinks like an entrepreneur and identifies and connects to individuals that share similar interests. Now they are ready to leave the guidance of their instructor to pursue their own ideas.

Explorer Inventor Creator The following slide shows some of the
topics students would learn in the Explorer, Inventor and Creator modules. The topics are not limited to what is mentioned. They will be modified to keep the modules relevant And adopt to new technology. Inventor Creator

Technology Footprint We will not limit our leaning to any specific technology kits and vendors as we believe they limit the learner’s creativity. We will use open source electronic circuit boards and open source software. For cloud computing we will use products and services from the most trusted Cloud Vendors. For Big data we will use products from the industry leaders in this space. Below are some of the micro controllers and Software stacks (but not limited to) we will use Software: C, Arduino, Python, Python Anaconda, AWS IOT, AWS Rules Engine, AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, Quicksight, Athena, Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, Kinesis Streams, Firehose, Windows 10 Big Data – Hadoop Distributions from trusted vendors Hardware: Arduino Uno, Arduino Mega, MKR1000, Arduino Yun, open source sensors, Ethernet cards, GPS, Bluetooth modules, Radio communication cards, Raspberry Pi
