Centrifugal force from rotation forces the vane outward to the cylinder.
Push rod operating between opposing vanes help initiate vane movement. (especially important with viscous liquids)

Liquid pressure is transferred to the bottom of the vane through the slots in the front of the vane.
These three forces are the heart of Blackmer pumps’ performance and high efficiency.

Vanes are forced back into the slot as the cylinder bore decreases.
The push rod moves through the rotor to initiate movement of the opposing vane.

Maintains even shaft load for mechanical seals & increased pump life.
