2. Who?
Representatives of the businesses, groups and organisations from within the tourism industry in Angus.
A group of like minded people that understand the shared view that if tourism grows and prospers, our businesses grow and prosper.

3. Why?
To bring together Angus businesses involved in the tourism industry, to encourage collaboration and strategic alignment.
To provide opportunities for members to share their views and experiences and to network.
Create an influential and collective voice to represent Angus at a Regional and National level.
To support businesses to increase capacity and capability.

4. What we have done so far. Exhibited at the 2018 VisitScotland Expo
Recruited members providing us with representation from accommodation, attractions, culture and heritage, art, transportation, wildlife, food and drink and agri-tourism.
Created 5 sub groups to focus on topics such as food and drink, Angus events, activity and itinerary development, Travel Trade and ATC planning and development.
Developed a website
Delivered 3 member events

5. Angus Leader
Leader is a European funded rural development programme aimed at improving the quality of life and prosperity in rural communities.
An opportunity for individuals to participate in learning exchanges in the other countries.
A series of tourism focused community engagement workshops.
A clash calendar of local events and activities.
A pilot project in Kirriemuir and Brechin to offer improved toilet facilities and to provide suitable tourist information points.
The project will also see the development of a number of courses relating to traditional rural and craft skills and food and drink.

6. What we plan to do. Continue to increase the membership.
Work with members and industry to identify new business opportunities.
Provide opportunities for members to network, collaborate and develop new skills.

7. Summary
We want to work with the industry and the people within it to extend and enhance the visitor experience and to bring in new tourists. And to ultimately increase growth in our local economy. Working together to identify opportunities and areas for improvement, and collaboration is key to this goal.
