After intro (slide 2 & 3)….. Step 1: Give students cards and have them separate into 2 piles – “happens inside cell” & “doesn’t involve the cell” Step 2: check answers as a group to make sure everyone has write answers. Tell students to Put the wrong stack back in bag and set right stack aside Step 3: give them the bubble map explain each concept and have them put the correct terms with the correct concept Step 4: check answer as a group Step 5: students draw completed map in journal (large) Step 6: back of journal have them define each one of the terms p.S if you can come up with better labels (“happens inside cell” & “doesn’t involve the cell”) let me know. I was trying to get the concept of “this not that” across
