Have food for at least a week
Have non perishable food, water, battery, battery operated or hand crank radio, flashlights, fill up car gas tank, goggles for the family, disposable breathing masks for the family, have a family emergency plan

LISTEN TO WHAT STATE OFFICIALS TELL YOU!!!!
HELP YOUR NEIGHBORS IF NEEDED
AVOID RIVER, BRIDGES, OR ANY ROAD WITH WATER CLOSE TO IT

If you can’t evacuate STAY INDOORS
Use a dust mask or hold a damp cloth over your face to help with breathing
Stay indoors until the ash has settled unless there is a danger of the roof collapsing
Avoid driving in heavy ash fall unless absolutely required. If you have to drive, keep speed down to 35 MPH or slower.
