By joining, institutions will have access to the new dedicated staff position for the US to assist with ORCID integration (beginning ~ May 2018)

11. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ORCID US COMMUNITY
A new dedicated staff position, the ORCID Community Specialist, will be housed at LYRASIS to serve the ORCID US Community.
The ORCID Community Specialist will:
Offer administrative support;
Manage and support the onboarding of new members;
Develop shared resources, communication materials, and events;
Respond to ORCID Tier 1 technical questions and referring issues to ORCID staff when higher level support is needed;
Provide overall community management; and,
Offer marketing, outreach, and representation at the international consortial level.
