A vendor can be searched by:
Name, Vendor Number, UNSPSC, Project Number, or Keyword
Changing the search engine to “Contains” in any of the search fields dramatically increases the success of the search

Clicking “Expand” to the right of the vendor reveals vendor and commodity specific information

8. How To Get On The Approved Vendor List
Vendor must be awarded for specific commodities through a Solicitation Process
Vendor must be approved by the Board of Trustees
Vendor must execute an approved HISD contract
An SRM contract must be created in SAP
The vendor will now be included in the Approved Vendor List and is also available to create SAP shopping carts
