2 August 29 Write the definition and answer the questions.
1. Analyze- (v) To examine critically, so as to identify causes, key factors, or possible results. What is something you could analyze? How would analyze that object? 2. Infer- (v) To draw a conclusion by reasoning. Sean looks upset and he is not walking with his girlfriend. What can you infer from this information? 3. Evidence- (n) Information that supports a claim or argument. (In writing, you usually show evidence by quoting.) Your mother thinks you took the last piece of pie that she was saving for lunch, but it was your brother who did it. What evidence could you use to show your innocence?
