Outside the timetable courses
Inside the timetable courses are the courses you take in the school day between 9am and 3:15pm. A student can take a maximum of 8 inside timetable courses. Students can choose to take a ninth course outside the timetable. These courses usually happen between Monday and Thursday after school and are yearlong. These courses will appear on your report card like any other course and will have a percentage and letter grade.

School Citizenship Junior Leadership- Thursday 3:30 – 5:00
focused on running fun, spirit building activities at the High School such as theme days (pajama day, tropical day, etc.) events, (Sounders Day-indoor track meet, Christmas assembly), etc. We are active volunteers in the school and community. We learn by doing and have a lot of fun at the same time. Athletic Leadership- Thursday 3:30 – 5:00 Choosing, planning and implementing intramurals sports for the school. Organize the Terry Fox run and fundraising. Students contribute to the school and community through volunteering that will let you follow your passion and use your strengths to improve school and community life for others. Aboriginal Leadership- Thursday 3:30 – 5:00 Understanding First Nations culture, language, history, fostering a sense of belonging and spiritual understanding. Participate in 24 hour drum and other first nations activities. Yearbook- Wednesday 3:30 – 5:00 Develop skills in: photography, photo editing, page design, copywriting. Required skills: time management skills, communication skills, positive engagement in school events.

Fine Arts Jazz band- Tuesday 7:30 – 8:45 am and Thursday 3:25 – 4:30 pm Previous music experience needed, preform rock, swing, Latin, pop, funk and blues tunes. The group travels on tour both locally and internationally. Theatre Performance- Monday and Wednesday 3:30 – 5:00 Participate in a variety of styles and forms of theatre. Put on plays and skits and try out all the different aspects of theatre from acting to directing to technical Choir- Monday and Wednesday 3:30 – 5:00 Sing music from pop, Broadway, various musicals. Tour both locally and internationally.

Sports Football- Tues/Wed and Thursday 6pm practice
Students participate in a training regime including weights, flexibility, speed and agility training. Basketball- Wednesday 3:30 – 5:00 Skill development, team development, coaching, and refereeing.
