1. INTERNET PICTURE TO SURFCAM

2. Find your Picture eg. jpg or bitmap

3. Save into your H:drive.

4. Open Inkscape

5. File / Open / Find picture / OK

6. Click OK

7. Highlight the picture. (click on it)

8. Path / Trace bitmap.

9. Brightness cutoff low number = less image filled (LEFT IMAGE) high number = more image filled (RIGHT IMAGE)

10. Edge Detection high number = less definition (LEFT IMAGE) low number = more definition (RIGHT IMAGE)

11. When you are happy with the updated picture click ok

12. Drag your new image to one side and delete the old image.

13. File / Save As / Change to DXF / Save

14. Choose Robo Master type / OK

15. Open Surfcam – change file type to DXF / open your file / OK

16. Click OK

17. Check the size of your drawing / Analyse / Distance / Sketch To change the size. Edit / Transform / Move / Scale (to work out the scale : the size of your drawing divided by the size you want it to be)
