6. SCP-RR Home Page Landing Page
When you log on to SCP you will be presented with this landing page.
At the top you can see your name and user role, how to exit the system, book mark it, access the help files and the About link.
On the left, you can see the Navigation Tree, which allows you to access different parts of the system. We recommend that you click on the My Workspace link which will take you to the SCP dashboard.

20. An ‘Archived’ status keeps outdated information off the dashboard view
Using the Dashboard
Unused exceptions and summary boxes can be hidden – click the configure icon.
Use drop down list to make sure ‘Purchase Orders’ are shown in the Order Summary section.
Each user can set filters for their own dashboard (Buyer Name, Region etc.)
An ‘Archived’ status keeps outdated information off the dashboard view

21. My Workspace – Counts at ‘Line’ Level
Navigation via My Workspace
As previously stated, each box in My Workspace shows a particular module of the SCP system and what is going on within that module. For example, in the Order Summary box, you will see that there are number of Order States – New, Updated, Supplier Rejected and so on. These are covered in more detail in the other training courses. You will also see that there is a Total column. Wherever you see a non-zero number, you can click the number and that will take you directly to the information that is contained in that state.

29. Special Characters Data in SCP-RR
When you enter information in SCP-RR as part of a response that will be sent to Rolls-Royce, some special characters should be avoided.
For example, the ‘Supplier Comments’ field on a Delivery Schedule response can use the more basic special characters such as []>=<
But you should not enter letters with accents or special characters on them or double byte characters.
Creating New Users or Orgs for SCP-RR
If you create a new user for SCP-RR, or set up a new organization that needs access to SCP-RR, you should ONLY USE the basic 26 letters of the alphabet, numbers and the dash (“-”) symbol.
Avoid all other special characters when registering new users or organizations for SCP-RR.
