6 How much does it cost? The trip cost $585 This includes:
All meals Transportation Lodging Personal on-site security Admission into all museums, etc. There is a payment plan $175 non-refundable deposit due Oct. 5th $150 due Nov. 2nd $150 due Dec. 7th Final payment of $110 due Jan. 14th

7 Can I get financial help for my child?
There will be a limited number of scholarships available for students. Due to demand, we won’t be able to pay for the entire trip. There is a limited amount of money available for students. Last year, we were able to provide $210 for the students who needed assistance. If you are looking for a scholarship, your child will be responsible for participating in the fundraisers. If you are wanting to apply for a scholarship, you will need to Lauren King After ing Ms. King, you will need to fill out a form on-line and there will be a packet that also comes home.

8 Fundraisers We will have at least four fundraisers: September – Attractions books October – Glow Candles November – Popcornopolis December – Pampered Chef Money raised while participating in the fundraiser will go directly to the student and come the final payment(s) Attractions book - $10 per book Glow Candles – 50% of total sale Popcornopolis – 50% of total sale Pampered Chef – 50% of total sale

9 What happens if my child gets in trouble?
There are eligibility requirements which are based on student behavior. Beginning on Sept. 10th a student will be removed from the trip if: Is given Out of School Suspension (OSS) for any reason. Is given In School Suspension a second time. Gets a fourth referral resulting in time spent in the Responsibility Room (RR), After School Detention (ASD) or lunch detention, as assigned by an administrator. The school’s administration has the final decision regarding the eligibility of any student.

10 Will I get my money back if my child is removed?
The $175 deposit is non-refundable. Cancellation prior to Dec. 7th will be refunded, less the $175 deposit From Dec. 7th – Jan 11th you will get a 50% refund less the $175 deposit After Jan. 11th - no refunds.

11 Can I go? We currently don’t take parent chaperones.
We will have between 16 – 20 staff members or former staff members from CC Griffin attending the trip as chaperones. Our staff to student ratio will be 1:10 (one staff member for 10 students or less)

13 What to pack? Warm, school appropriate clothes (enough for four days)
HEAVY coat, gloves, hats, scarves, etc. Please don’t pack these things in the suitcase, we will need them on Tuesday night. Comfortable walking shoes Socks Poncho Toiletries and deodorant Spending money We may stop for souvenirs
