8 Let’s see some Examples -
Indefinite Tense takes the Auxiliary verb of Continuous Tense Active :We write English Passive: English is written by us Active: we wrote English Passive: English was written by me Active :He will help me Passive :I shall be helped by him.

9 Auxiliary of Continuous Tense turns into Continuous + being
Some Examples - Active: we are digging a canal. Passive: A canal is being dug by us Active: They were flying kites Passive: Kites were being flown by them. Active: we shall be taking tea. Passive : Tea will be being taken by us.

10 The Auxiliaries-Have, Has, Had turns into- Have been, Has been, Had been
Some Examples Active : I have seen him. Passive: He has been seen by me. Active : He had made a noise . Passive: A noise had been made by him. Active : He will have eaten rice. Passive : Rice will have been eaten by him.

11 4. Make Past Participle of the Main Verb
Some Examples Active : She does not make tea. Passive :Tea is not made by her . Active :He was requesting you. Passive: You were being requested by him.

12 5. Bring the Extension after the Main Verb
Some Examples Active : They offered the job to Simon. Passive: The job was offered to simon by them. I asked the question to David. The question Was asked to David. by me

13 The boy pleased the teacher. He was shocked at the news .
In stead of ‘BY’ some otherPREPOSITIONS are also used I know the man The man is known to me. The boy pleased the teacher. The teacher was pleased with the boy . The news shocked him . He was shocked at the news .
