An important holiday is All Saint’s Day.

3 Why Do People Celebrate All Saint’s Day?
They celebrate All Saint’s Day to remember people that died.

4 When Does All Saint’s Day Take Place?
This holiday takes place on November 1st. It begins on October 31st, All Hallow’s Eve!

5 What Are Some Traditions Of This Holiday?
People hide presents around the house. Children use the following traditional Sicillian saying to ask for gifts, Holy souls holy souls I am one and you are many! While I am in this world of troubles, bring me lots of presents from dead people!

6 What Are Some Decorations For This Holiday?
Flowers go on graves. They often put chrysanthemums on the graves.

7 Are There Foods Eaten For This Holiday?
People drink wine. Also they eat roasted chestnuts and a sweet cookie called bones of the dead.

8 What Are Some Clothes Worn On This Holiday?
They wear fancy clothing.

9 Would I? I would like to celebrate this holiday because the grown ups would give me presents. I would love to eat the sweet cookie!
