12 Compensatory leave and Scheduling
PS – Art 19.04 Scheduled in leave or paid in cash at request of employee and approval of employer Payout on March 31 Max carry-over of 75 hrs at direction of employer, or request of employee and discretion of employer NC – Art 35.04 Scheduled in leave or paid in cash at discretion of employer in consultation with employee, or at request of employee and discretion of employer Payout on March 31 Max carry-over of 10 days at discretion of employer in consultation with employee, cash out after carry over only at request of employee

13 Standby Standby – payment for being available to take a call to work or return to work (no calls or work actually done) - the expectation and/or posting of availability incurs the payment 1 hr for 8 hrs of standby or portion thereof PS – paid in cash or may request comp time; NC -Paid as comp time Standby duty distributed equally amongst qualified employees Once respond to call Ovetime/Call Back applies

15 Statement of Duties Art 33 – PS / Art 40 – NC
“Upon written request, an employee shall be provided with a complete and current statement of the duties and responsibilities of his or her position, including the classification level and where applicable, the point rating allotted by factor to his or her position, and an organization chart depicting the position’s place in the organization, if one is available, or within sixty days of the request.” NC Language. 16 Vacation Leave / Scheduling

17 Professional Currency Program – EDA
PS – Art 47 Necessary for duties Assign each CAI to a PACP Assign every employee in accordance with criteria and procedures established between employer and union All changes except assignment to a program shall be by mutal agreement between parties EDA (Art 46) paid monthly, requirement for annual documentation of completion of PACP to prevent recovery NC - LOU 2-13 – NO EDA Employees eligible but not mandatory Qual std is ATPL or Cdn Mil – have or have held. Company provides contracted program to renew Group 1 Instrument rating with current generation IFR certified GNSS aircraft No adverse affect on employment if unsuccessful Up to $250 for retraining to rewrite exams

18 Discipline / Investigation (PS only) Art 49
Requirement for notification in writing of any investigation that may result in disciplinary action Be advised of who is investigating and why Right to representation at any meeting with management No evidence from employee file that employee was not aware of Provide employee with information used in investigation subject to ATIP restrictions
