MANAGING MEETINGS Meetings provide forum for most team processess so it is vital that they take place regularly. (At least once a month)

To be effective: If to share info : ? exchange but advantages of personal contact, debate, shared reflection & instant feedback Must have a clear purpose Consider who should attend Prepare & distribute written agenda

Ensure venue is provided with all relevant equipment & refreshment
As a manager or in charge -Facilitate or chair the meeting or delegate to others -Ensure begins on time -stick to the agenda as clearly as possible

-Follow agenda, detail, item by item, the decisions made and tasks alloted, with deadlines noted. -They should always be a note on who was present as a reminder that absentees will

Not have the complete picture
-The minutes may also note issues to be covered in the next meeting and give a provisional date for that meeting; Handout: setting an agenda
