2. From Washington, DC
1. Take I-395 S/Henry Shirley Memorial Highway S toward Richmond. Merge onto I-95 S via Exit 1A on the left toward Richmond.
2. Merge onto I-295 S via Exit 84A on the left toward Rocky Mount NC/Richmond International.
3. Merge onto I-64 E via Exit 28A toward Norfolk/VA Beach. Take Exit 247 (VA-143/US-238) toward Yorktown/Lee Hall.
From Richmond International Airport
North on Richard E. Byrd Terminal Drive toward South Airport Drive. Take ramp toward Richmond/I-64/I-295/US-60. Merge onto South Airport Drive.
Then follow #3 above from DC.
Entrance through Gate 1 or Gate 3 (NOTE: Gate 1 is only open from 0600 – 1300, M-F.)
If you have a military ID, you will not need a visitors pass and can enter through Gate 1. If you don’t you will have to enter through Gate 3.
For Gate 1, at Exit 247, take a left, then follow road through two lights, take a left at Follow road to next light. Take a left into Gate 1, getting in the right lane. Take an immediate right after the gate. Follow to T in the road. Take a right. NOSTRA will be in front of you. There are Visitor Parking spots when you enter parking lot, on your right. Enter through the second walkway from the right of the building. Admin/check-in is the first office on the right.
For Gate 3 at Exit 247, take a left. Follow to next light, take a left entering Gate 3. After getting a visitor’s pass, go through Gate 3, take first right on Halstead Road. Follow road, take right (veer right) on Old Williamsburg Road. Take left (veer left) onto Bollman Road. Take right on Spring Road, and follow through two stop signs until Spring Road ends. NOSTRA will be in front of you. There are Visitor Parking spots when you enter parking lot, on your right. Enter through the second walkway from the right of the building. Admin/check-in is the first office on the right.

3. From Norfolk International Airport
West on Norview Avenue, turn left to stay on Norview Avenue. Merge onto 1-64 W toward Hampton/Richmond. Take Exit 247 (VA-143/US-238) toward Yorktown/Lee Hall. Follow directions below for Gate 1 or Gate 3.
From Newport News Municipal Airport
Exit the airport on Bland Blvd. Turn right on Jefferson Avenue. Follow directions below for Gate 1 or Gate 3.
Entrance through Gate 1 or Gate 3 (NOTE: Gate 1 is only open from 0600 – 1300, M-F.)
If you have a military ID, you will not need a visitors pass and can enter through Gate 1. If you don’t you will have to enter through Gate 3.
For Gate 1, at Exit 247, bear right, then follow road through the light, passing a 7-11 on your left. Follow road to next light. Take a left into Gate 1, getting in the right lane. Enter through the second walkway from the right of the building. Admin/check-in is the first office on the right.
For Gate 3 at Exit 247, bear right, then take a left at the light. Follow to next light, take a right entering Gate 3.
