18 Reminder Instructional Language is often MUCH more complex than the actual target language. Teacher talking time should be at a minimum in a student centered classroom; this is also true for instruction. If you only do one thing in your lesson plan, figure out how to give instructions.

2. Rewrite the instructions for your level of students. 3. Consider: Writing CCC, Chunking, Reduce “teacher talk”. 4. Be ready to give insturctions to another group.
