Need not be an ISA member to be on S&P Committees
Approximately 3,000 volunteers work in over 150 committees and subcommittees to develop and maintain ISA standards for the measurement, control and automation fields.
ISA also serves as the international secretariat to 2 International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) subcommittees and we administer 8 U.S. TAGs (Technical Advisory Groups) which prepare the U.S. positions regarding IEC work.
In addition, standards developed by ISA committees, we are also accredited to use the canvass method - which can be a faster and less costly way to achieve technical consensus on standards documents.

7. What is ISA/S95 ?
ANSI/ISA x standard “Enterprise–Control Systems Integration”
Also called “S95”
SP95 is the committee charged with developing the ISA95 standards
Also ISO/IEC standard
ISO/IEC JWG15 internationalizes the Standard
Explain a little bit about the ISA and what it does in the standards area.
Explain the S88.01 is the standard and that SP88 was the committee.
Mention that is is a USA standard, under the auspices of ANSI
This is also an international standard, under the auspices of IEC
(IEC does electrical stuff, ISO does computer stuff)
S88.01 was developed with international support, through the IEC WG11 (Working Group 11) and by meeting occasionally in Europe.

Maintenance and Quality vaguely included within Resource management
Many places for Business / Manufacturing domains boundary : MES area must be addressed
MES area current definitions lack of consistency (MESA « marketing » model)
