If they currently only receive ed resumes I make a point to say that they will now be replacing the address they advertise with the URL address of their website, much like the address replaced the fax number. 20 Applicant Routing Process
Recruiter Discuss the concept of building a searchable database which would be the first step after a req has been created versus spending money to acquire new resumes. Whether the recruiter searches the database or views new resumes that were routed to her directly from the career website, the recruiter then routes them to the hiring manager. The routing occurs via and the content of the is editable. When the routing goes out it tracks the date it is routed and the date the manager responds. The manager does not have to call the recruiter to respond, instead the manager just clicks on the response in the (these are defined by the client). Prospects love the fact that the manager does not have to long in, in fact, many client don’t give their managers the ability to login (exception would be if they want the manager to create the req). The system can be setup so that the applicant that apply to a req can go directly to the manager with no intervention or filter by the recruiter Hiring Manager
