11. ENERGY CONSERVATION IN INDUSTRIAL SECTOR
1- Motor should be kept clean and lubricated to reduce friction. 2- Motor should be operated at rated load. 3- Use shunt capacitor across the inductive load to improve the power factor and reduce the line current. 4- Tighten the belt and pulley to reduce the possibility of slip. 5- Use CFL or discharge lamp instead of incandescent lamp.

12. ENERGY CONSERVATION IN AGRICULTURAL SECTOR
Agriclture is the largest energy consuming
sector next to domestic and industrial
sector. Two main energy sources used
in agriculture sector are electricity and oil.
1-Tube well pumps
2- Diesel generating set
For energy conservation- Use solar water
pump , biogenerator and take care to
maintain the pumps.
