What
The purpose of the Safe Zone program at CPCC is to create an inclusive and safe environment by informing and educating campus members who are supportive of all individuals regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression
Why
Safe Zone allies are able to make a difference in the lives of individuals by confronting derogatory language
There is evidence to support the claim that Safe zone ally training improves the comfort level of participating individuals and increases the visibility of safe spaces for students
