While politicians and environmentalists are wringing their hands about global warming and climate change, the future extreme warming of the earth in which the heavens will melt with fervent heat and the earth will be burned up, seems to be of little concern. Of course, that catastrophic global warming event can be easily avoided by anyone who chooses to be a Christian.

Mankind may or may not be able to prevent further global warming.
As Christians, we are responsible for being good stewards over God’s creation (Genesis 2:15; 1:26-28; Psalm 8:6-8; Exodus 23:10-11; Leviticus 25:1-7)
God has promised that certain things will continue while the earth remains (Genesis 8:22)

Those on earth at the time will experience the destruction (2 Peter 3:7; 2 Thess. 1:7-8)
Christians will be removed from the earth before it is destroyed (Luke 17:28-36; 1 Thess. 4:16-17; 5:9; Romans 5:9)
