7. The Coalition Application
STEP1:
Create an account.

8. MUST open the Coalition Application in Google Chrome:

9. STEP 2: Complete all sections of your profile.

10. STEP 3: Search and Upload your Colleges. STEP 4: Start Application.

11. MUST follow prompts in order and select “I have read and agree to above” within your application:

12. Do NOT add recommenders. We send all documents through other means.

14. STEP 1: Create an account.

15. STEP 2: Go to the College Search tab.

16. Add at least one college to your list.
Step 3:
Add at least one college to your list.
How?
Type a college name into the “College or City Name” search bar and click Search.

17. STEP 4: Go to the My Colleges tab.

18. STEP 5:
Follow ALL prompts in order (starting with the “Questions” box).
STEP 6:
Complete ALL three boxes in gray side bar so that your Common Application will link to Naviance.

20. Linking Naviance to The Common Application
(Remember… we have already linked The Coalition Application by clicking “I have read and agree to the above” within my application.)

21. STEP 1: Log on to Naviance and click on “Colleges I’m Applying To.”

22. STEP 2: Click “Match Accounts” and follow prompts.

23. You will know you have matched successfully when the bar turns green.

26. Requesting Teacher Recommendations
through Naviance

27. STEP 1: Click on “letters of recommendation section” under “Colleges.”

28. STEP 2: Choose your teacher from the drop down menu to send he/she electronic notification.

29. STEP 3: Select which colleges will receive your teacher’s letter (You can be specific or choose all colleges from your list) and click “Submit Request.”

Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA; National Arm of Money)
- Complete FSA ID (one for student/one for parent)
- Submit after October 1st, 2018.
- FAFSA Completion Workshop October 9th: 7pm-9pm in the media center.
