3 What’s New for Admissions
Completely re-vamped website with improved resources New regular decision application track deadline of June 3, 2019 Pre-requisite courses must be successfully completed by August 5. Pre-requisite coursework may be satisfied if taken outside of the U.S. as long as the applicant provides a World Education Services course-by-course evaluation. Acceptance of foreign coursework to satisfy pre-requisites is at the discretion of the college. The most recent attempt of a course will be used to calculate the pre-requisite GPA and the last 60 hours GPA. The overall, science, and math GPA calculations will remain the same with all attempts included in the calculation. PharmD Early Assurance Program for high school seniors or non-science bachelor’s degree holders.

4 What’s New for Admissions
Applicants must take either the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) or the Graduate Record Examinaton (GRE) or the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). The preferred exam is the PCAT but there may be occasions we will accept a GRE or MCAT score in lieu of the PCAT. If you wish to substitute the PCAT for one of these exams, you must submit a standardized exam substitution request form. A minimum overall scaled score of 300 is required if you substitute the GRE. The highest score will be used for admission. GRE scores are only reportable for 5 years after the test date. A minimum overall scaled score of 500 is required if you substitute the MCAT. The highest score will be used for admission. Only MCAT exams taken since April will be acceptable.

5 What’s New for Admissions
PCAT has officially added February dates to the exam schedule. Early decision applicants may take the September PCAT exam dates but must the unofficial score report to me no later than September 10th. OUHSC requires a supplemental application. Only those invited for an interview will receive information on submitting the supplemental application. Those invited to complete the supplemental will need to do so prior to the selected interview date. The supplemental application fee is $50.00. Because of the later application deadline, regular decision interviews will have set dates in February and April and as needed dates from May-July.
