2. A Brief Update on the 1st Cohort of the College Academy
The 1st cohort has now earned 10 hours of college credit!
Participated in a BalloonSat research project with UAH Space Hardware Club (digital animation project their sophomore year)
1st cohort will be taking Biology 119 and 120, Music Lit, and American Government with UAH
We lost 2 students in the 1st cohort due to military moves (now have 29 returning students)

3. A Brief Update on the 2nd Cohort of the College Academy
UAH Orientation for 2nd cohort was held Saturday, July UAH

Learned about support services, library & research, extracurricular activities, etc.
The 2nd cohort took their first college course this week – FYE 101 – and earned their first college credit hour
UAH will be hosting a Back-to-School Celebration for the 2nd Cohort in September to welcome them as UAH students
