Kidneys of normal settings and dimensions
Concentrating and eliminating contrast medium symmetrically and under good density
RIGHT KIDNEY: Presents hypodense nodular formation, with fat density (-64 UH), measuring about 0,5 x 0,3 cm, located on the lateral side of the middle third
Ureters and bladder unchanged

12. BRIEF REVIEW Rare benign tumors (2%-3% of renal tumors )
Usually manifesting in middle-aged women.
An isolated, sporadic condition in 80% of cases. The other 20% of cases develop in association with tuberous sclerosis.
Are usually incidental findings
Symptoms
Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and fever.
Common findings
Palpable mass, hematuria, anemia, shock, hypertension, urinary tract infections and kidney failure.
These signs and symptoms are usually a result of the mass effect and bleeding,occurring in 68% to 80% of patients in whom the tumor reaches 4 cm or more.
The components of this tumor include mature adipose tissue, smooth muscle and thick-walled blood vessels.
