1. Introduction Intonation refers to the pitch change in an utterance i.e the way in which the voice goes up and down when we speak

2. OBJECTIVES Expose the students to different concepts in phonetics
Ensure students articulate phonetic sounds correctly

3. COURSE DESCRIPTION This course exposes students to basic concepts in phonetics and phonology. It helps students to have a proper understanding of what these concepts are. The goal of this course is to teach students and make them have linguistic competence of the language.
