Insect precautions (30% DEET) protective clothing

6. Food and Water issues
Hepatitis A vaccine is recommended for all travelers
Typhoid fever vaccination for most travelers
Travelers’ Diarrhea – moderate risk, bring treatment

TB testing for healthcare workers before travel
Rabies – no petting the cute puppies
Air pollution an issue in Rio for those with asthma
Security threats – violent crime, kidnapping, sexual assault and drugging food and drinks
