SP Oil / Water Separator Installation Guide

SP Oil Water Separators 25, 40, and 60
OWS as received with instruction manual and parts kit attached

Unwrap the SP unit and place in service location

Remove parts kit attached to the handle and make sure all parts are accounted for.

Locate inlet hub on SP units. The hub should be clearly labeled

Remove black cap from hose barb

Using the supplied hose and hose clamps attach the hose to inlet barb and tighten clamp using a standard screw driver.

Next, cut the hose and fasten the hose to the source of condensate
Next, cut the hose and fasten the hose to the source of condensate. Repeat this process for all sources of condensate.

Locate outlet, outlet shall be clearly labeled

Using supplied hose and hose clamps attach the hose to outlet barb and tighten clamp using a standard screw driver.

Locate cap marked “Remove To Prime” and remove.

Place prime port cap in plastic bag with other caps for future disposal shipping needs

Fill SP unit with clean water

Continue to prime SP unit with clean water until clear water flows from outlet hose. MAKE SURE OUTLET HOSE IS NOT COILED OR KINKED AND GOES TO DRAIN

Locate filter vent and push into prime port slot

Firmly press into prime port until seated.

Your SP units is now ready for use.
Monitor Water DISCHARGED from SP. When planned change period is reached or water turns cloudy--REPLACE UNIT
