OUR MISSION: Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association Youth League (WAGLAX) is a developmental, athletic organization that aspires to provide a high-quality experience to every athlete. A high-quality experience is one of which every athlete Has fun playing the game Feels like an important member of the team Learns "life lessons" that have value beyond the playing field Learns the skills, tactics and strategies of lacrosse and improves as a player WaGLAX is committed to creating a positive culture in which coaches, parents, fans, umpires and athletes work together to achieve this mission.

UMPIRE RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS
Requirement is proportional to the number of teams fielded 1-3 Teams – 1 Requirements 4-6 Teams – 2 Requirements 7-9 Teams – 3 Requirements 10 Teams – 4 Requirements Each U11 team counts as ½ a team for these purposes IND YOUTH ADULT COACH 2ND YR ADULT Rated + 10 Rated + 5 Rated + Jamb Rated + 8

Scheduling It is a 2 Step Process –REGISTRATION AND SCHEDULING FORMS
All Updates/Changes to Scheduling forms must be made in link sent to you when you uploaded your scheduling form Changes to Registration made by ing Intention: Balanced schedule where everyone is 50/50. More “travel” as players age – although everyone will have to “travel” twice in season. Posted March 1-5, Schedule is “Draft” until listed as “FINAL”. No Scheduling changes after March 31, 2018.

2018 Season Preview Schedule Change Request Sideline Manager
Teams shall communicate to each other and find a mutually agreeable solution to a change from the published schedule and then submit the change request to Brian -- LAST DAY TO MAKE CHANGES IS MARCH 31, 2018 Sideline Manager Each team (home and away) will provide a sideline manager whose duty shall be to control effectively the actions of spectators not in conformity with the standards of proper conduct. Uniform Compliance All teams will attest that their uniforms meet USL specifications or submit a waiver request to the WSLA board detailing the out of compliance item and replacement date. AT U11 and U9 T Shirts with numbers are acceptable Umpire Feedback Send to Kate & Sekou via Both positive and negative feedback
