2 Schoolwide Change The First Three Years A need for: more information
understanding how it impacts me knowing how to manage new work During the first three years of a school-wide change process, concerns generally reflect at least one of the following three themes: A need for more information about the change; A need for information about how the change will impact a person on a day-to-day basis (including whether that person has the skills necessary to implement the change); and A need to know how to manage new work requirements (such as how to embed schoolwide expectations in the current curriculum)

4 Need for Information Is the staff:
Familiar with behavioral issues in the school Concerned about decreasing problem behaviors Committed to increasing academic performance To perceive the need for change, an understanding of what is before seeing what can be A desire to change outcomes – a change in current practice required If you always do what you have done, you will continue to get what you have always gotten. Being asked to change outcomes and will need support to improve or change current practice.
