Children enrolled in the program who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) 104,963 (12.6%) Of these, the number who have not received special education and related services 1,290 (1.2%)

3 Infant and Toddler Part C Early Intervention Services
Children enrolled in the program who have an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)- 28,088 (12.5%) Of these, the number who have not received early intervention services under IDEA 276 (0.98%)

4 The intention and quality of children’s teaching and learning experiences, and our relationships with their parents, can change the trajectory of their whole life. Program staff should learn about children’s interests, strengths and challenges from their parents (first thing at every parent-teacher/home visitor meeting). Are we too focused on knowledge and too weak on learning?

6 Inclusion / Services to Children with Disabilities
Resources Supporting Individualization The Disabilities Network on MyPeers has grown to over 1,325 members. The community continues to share resources, ask questions and hold live chats. Resources Supporting Individualization is a collection of resources that provides information about evidence-based practices that support individualization. These practices are aligned with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework. The resources are organized around the eight topic areas of evidence-based practices identified in the Division for Early Childhood (DEC) Recommended Practices Launched in late October, 2017 these resources have had over 2,700 unique page views; the assessment compendium has had 526 unique views to date. Include their families and remind teachers and other staff to use their own curiosity to understand children’s world view and remember why they became teachers. Set children on a path leading to social competence and academic confidence
