The number of roots of a polynomial is equal to its degree.
Fundamental Theorem of Algebra The number of roots of a polynomial is equal to its degree.
4
The Remainder Theorem The remainder when dividing a polynomial by (x-a) is the value of that polynomial at “a”.
5
The Factor Theorem The binomial x-a is a factor of the polynomial f(x) if and only if f(a)=0.
6
The Quadratic Formula If you can’t Factor a quadratic, you can always use the quadratic formula which is how you can find imaginary roots.
