Lane 2013 County Summary Summary In 2013, the largest proportion of arrests reported in Lane County was for methamphetamine, followed by heroin, marijuana, and cocaine. Total drug arrests rose nearly 60 percent between 2008 and Total deaths in the county dropped from a high of 33 in 2009 to 20 in 2012, the latest data available. Also in 2012, treatment of substance abuse in the county was highest for marijuana, followed by methamphetamine, heroin, controlled prescription drugs, and cocaine. The total number of indoor plants seized in Lane County was higher when compared per capita to the HIDTA region and Oregon between 2006 and 2012, but lower by comparison in The number of indoor plants seized in the county dropped over 80 percent from 2012 (3,534) to 2013 (570). The number of outdoor plant seizures dropped by one-third between 2008 (6,401) and 2013 (4,266).
