Among teenagers, rates of depression and anxiety have increased by 70% in the past 25 years, particularly since the mid 1980’s (Young Minds)
20% of adolescents may experience a mental health problem in any given year (Mental Health Foundation)
The ‘No Health Without Mental Health’ Strategy states very clearly, the evidence is that early intervention support for children and young people is key to improving their mental health.
